The Emerald Rooms – The Perfect Space For Your Event
At McGovern Park we have three function rooms and two outside grass areas available for hire for all manner of events from weddings to wakes, conferences to Christmas parties. We have free Wifi throughout, excellent onsite catering and fully licensed bars with a wide variety of menus to choose from. Conveniently located just 10 minutes walk from South Ruislip tube station, we are only minutes away from the A40, M4 and London Heathrow Airport and provide free on site parking for up 100 cars for our events.
The newly refurbished Emerald rooms, located upstairs (there is an elevator lift available for disabled visitors), above the London GAA, can be hired separately or we can remove the solid partition walls to create a room big enough to host 500 guests.

The sound proof walls, separate entrance doors, ‘L-shaped’ bar with partition door and kitchen with two service doors means we can host two separate events upstairs at once.
Emerald Function Hall
Newly decorated, the Emerald Function Hall is bright and airy with a large accessible balcony and superb view out over the grounds. It boasts a state of the art media system, projector & 3m x 1.9m retracting projection screen, microphone and speaker system. The room can be set up in any number of configurations with the following capacities:
Without furniture (standing only) – 300 guests
Banqueting style – 200 seated on 6ft round tables.

Emerald Lounge
The Emerald Lounge is slightly smaller and is typically furnished with comfortable armchairs and small round tables (perfect for playing bridge). All furniture can be moved / changed as necessary, for example, if you wanted to have the room clear for a yoga, dance or Pilates class. It has three TVs which are linked to the media system so you can show presentations, videos or your company logo.
Without furniture (standing only) – 200 guests
Banqueting style -– 100 seated on 6ft round tables.

Outdoor Grass Area
Adjacent to the car park we have a large natural grass area measuring 60m x 18m which is perfect for company fun days, summer BBQs and team building exercises. Situated very close to the clubhouse, it is within easy reach of the bars and toilet facilities. Outside we can set up a temporary bar and catering or even a marquee* according to your needs. The Sports Bar
The newly refurbished Sports Bar and terrace is open daily to the public. We have a well stocked bar with a large variety of spirits, beer and wine and now serve freshly prepared hot food every day. Our in house chef cooks British classics such as fish & chips and Irish stew as well as lighter bites such as paninis and bacon sarnies to eat in or take away. This bar is available to hire, however, use of it is not exclusive and GAA members will always be welcome. There are three TVs with multiple live sports channels including Sky Sports, BT Sport & RTE, a darts board, fruit machines and a popular pool table which also has a false table top to cover it if you wish to have a buffet. McGovern Park (formerly known as Emerald GAA Grounds) is the current headquarters, and principal Gaelic games facility, of the London Gaelic Athletic Association .
